About 30 minutes ago, the binder clamps of my portfolio notebook finally clamped together for the last time. CLICK! They went, as I sank back onto my hard wood floor next to my computer printer that was almost as exhausted as me. "I'm done," I thought. AHHH! This is a project I had been dreading since my very acceptance into the program. The portfolio was like the dark cloud always looming, like you knew it was going to storm once it finally got overhead. While it has been super painful working on this beast over the past weeks, I am SO happy to finally say that it is done. This is such a moment of feeling like I have been productive and accomplished something. After it's grading, I'm not sure what I will actually do with the thing, perhaps a new coffee table book (I would kill anyone who spilled something on it) or maybe I should just put it on my bookshelf (But it weighs 75 pounds). Who knows where it's final resting place will be, but the important thing for now is that it is done.
